Ortho MAX is the most powerful version of Ortho's Bug-B-Gon products. Ortho MAX is able to quickly free you from your pest control problems! Bug-B-Gon MAX comes in three different varieties:

Ortho Bug-B-Gon MAX Spray
If you have pests that are attacking your plants and/or lawn either the concentrate or spray Ortho MAX pest control products should prove most effective for you. If you are planning on just treating a few plants in your garden and don't perceive and future pest control problems, you should probably use the Ortho MAX spray. The Ortho MAX spray comes bundled with the spraying nozzle that you need to distribute the Ortho MAX solution. You connect the nozzle to your hose, turn the sprayer to the ON position, and spray your plant(s). You don't need to buy any additional products. The Ortho MAX spray gives you all you need to treat your plants in one convenient package.
Ortho Bug-B-Gon MAX Concentrate
If you are going to be treating many plants, or will be treating plants year after year, purchasing the concentrate solution is the most affordable and viable choice. The concentrate needs to be distributed in the same way as the Spray version does. In order to achieve this result, you must purchase a sprayer that will distribute the proper amounts of concentrate at a constant rate. Ortho has developed a cheap and excellent concentrate sprayer - the Ortho Dial and Spray. This sprayer allows you to easily give your plants the exact treatment that they require. Just add the concentrate, set the dial, and spray. It is a very effective and low-cost choice for protecting your plants.
The concentrate and spray solutions fight a wide variety of plant-killing bugs: aphids, tomato worms, tent caterpillars, moths, and beetles (including the Japanese beetle). Both the Ortho MAX spray and concentrate are effective over 16,000 square feet. These two products can be used on ornamental plants such as roses, flowers and shrubs, as well as other vegetables and plants.
Ortho Bug-B-Gon MAX Granules
If you have pests that are invading your lawn, you probably want to use the granule Bug-B-Gon as you can easily spread it across your yard with any common rotary-based spreader. You should spread about 1-2 lbs. of granules per 1000 square feet. Ortho MAX Granules comes in two different sizes, a 10 pound or 20 pound bag, which treats 10,000 and 20,000 sq. ft. respectively. The Ortho MAX granules contain bug killing agents that especially designed and focused for killing the most annoying and dangerous bugs that are commonly present in lawns. The Ortho MAX granules kill many pesky bugs: ants, armyworms, crickets, earwigs, mole crickets, spiders, weevils, ticks, and many other pests.
